What is it?: National Honor Society recognizes students with exemplary scholarship, character, leadership and service. Members of NHS are allowed to wear a gold tassel at graduation. Every year a NHS senior is chosen to receive the NHS Scholarship funded by our members.

Faculty Advisor: Ms. Trissler-Smith (B-13)

Major Activities: Every year NHS sponsors a can drive to help local families in need. A major service project is chosen yearly by our President.

Who can join?: 10th, 11th & 12th graders

Meeting dates: Typically the second Monday of the month.

Dues: Dues are $10.00 and participation in a fundraiser (10.00-12.00 each to help with purchase of membership pins, tassels and senior scholarship)

Requirements:
-Applicants must have a 90 or above unweighted average.
-Applicants must also fill out the information form and have recommendation forms completed by teachers/coaches.
-Applicants are chosen by a faculty council after reviewing their completed information forms.
