Captain Mark Padgett and Corporal Chris Madden of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Law Enforcement Division spoke to the ECCHS 'Intro to Law and Public Safety' class on Tuesday, March 24th. The two law enforcement officers shared what it takes to become one of the most elite and specialized law enforcement officers in Georgia with the students. They also brought various tools in to allow students to be able to try out, like night vision goggles and heat - sensing cameras. Thank you both, Captain Padgett & Corporal Madden for spending time with us today!

The purpose of these visits is to allow students with an interest in Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Security and Corrections to be able to hear from professionals in those areas, as well as ask questions and get working towards fulfilling some of the requirements for landing a job. One common characteristic that all of the guest speakers thus far have shared is the need for education. Both to get a job and continuing education throughout the career of the individual.
